IAP’s first project, the Ruthie James Subdivision, began in the early 1990’s with 8 owner-and volunteer-built homes on land purchased from the Ruthie James estate.
Reeby Road
In 2011 Reeby Road was added, and two 3 bed/2 bath cape-style homes were built there in 2012 & 2013
The Schnur Cottages on Rick Rogers Lane
In 2025 Rick Rogers Lane was added to Reeby Road, and 2 more 3 bedroom / 2 bath homes were added, bringing the total up to 12.

In 2026, the first of two Town Center Duplexes was completed at the end of Rick Rogers Lane.
Other Properties
The Bus Barn House
In 2002 IAP built a cape-style, 3-bedroom, two-bathroom home on land donated by the Town of Islesboro, across from the old bus barn. It has provided a home for a volunteer firefighter, health center employee, preschool teacher, and public works employee, among others.
Maple Grove - Educator-Occupied
In 2006 & 2007, IAP built two homes near Maple Grove Cemetery. Since their construction, both have been homes for the families of career-educators at Islesboro Central School.
